THE last few months of the year are always the trickiest when it comes to new music. New releases seem to decrease in number at this time of year and more remixes emerge. Nevertheless, I managed to compile some new and older releases this month. Here are some of what I enjoyed.

5. U.R. Beautiful - THE BEACH

I've been following The Beach ever since I saw him in concert supporting Tom Odell around this time a year ago. He has a way with catchy chorus melody lines and this is no exception!

4. Cocoon - LORNE

Lorne's latest release is possibly his best yet. It's taken from his EP Maze. Lorne's lyrics are clever and his background as a producer can be clearly heard. Check it out:

3. Television Romance - PALE WAVES

Pale Waves are a new band who are working closely with Matty Healy from The 1975. There is no doubt that you can hear the influences of Healy's band. Pale Waves are led by Heather Baron-Gracie and are also from Manchester. Check them out as they're about to make some waves -

2. Let's Stay In Bed All Day (Acoustic) - PRIDES

This is another song that I found on my Discover Weekly playlist. This piano version is one I prefer to the original version. The acoustic version gives the vocals a lot more justice!

1. Evergreen - YEBBA

This absolutely amazing singer has featured on Sam Smith's The Thrill of it All album. She lends her voice to No Peace, a song she helped write. Her vocals are exquisite and so is this song. This might well be in my Top 5 songs for 2017!

And that's all for November! Some songs that did not make the Top 5 cut are Gabrielle Aplin's Stay, Dan Owen's acoustic version of Hideaway and Paris in the Rain by the one and only, LAUV. As always, feel free to follow me on Spotify and check out the full list below! Until next month!
