HERE we are with the final favourites post for 2017. In hindshight, this year has been a better year musically than the previous one. At least, in my opinion, anyway. I only have 10 songs in my Decemver Favourists playlist, but they are good ones. Some songs that did not make the cut are She Don't Know Me by Mullally and JP Cooper's She On My Mind. But here are the Top 5.

5. Road Less Traveled - LAUREN ALAINA

I've been following Lauren Alaina ever since she appeared on American Idol back in 2011. Of all her relases, this is my favourite one so far. It was actually released in 2016 but it wasn't until recently that I really got into it.

4. It's All Good - SUPERORGANISM

Weird, whacky and different are probably good words to use in describing not only this song, but any release of Superorganism. The group consists of eight members, led by 17-year-old vocalist Orono Noguchi.

3. Bruises - LEWIS CAPALDI

I've been listening to this guy for a while now and I'm still not over his beautiful voice. Check him out as he is about to become 2018's biggest starts

2. Leave A Light On - TOM WALKER

Another artists to keep your eye on in 2018 is Tom Walker. Especially if you are a fan of Imagine Dragons! He has splending vocals and this song does its best to show that off.

1. New Rules (Initial Talk Remix) - DUA LIPA

I disovered this remix when it was simply a YouTube upload shared around on Twitter. A few weeks later it became an official remix and available for us all to enjoy everywhere. It might be an unpopular opinion but I prefer this to the original - which is why it's on another top 5 of mine! It almost seems like it would have been inappropriate to not put this as my final number 1. It is an ode to the song's fantastic success this year.

So that is it for 2017! I'm hoping to do it again in 2018, this time with only ONE playlist and I updated monthly. I will be posting the link in Janury on all my socials. Until then, thanks for reading!
