THIS month's playlist may only feature 10 songs, but they are all fantastic entries. In fact, I had a tough time narrowing it down to only five songs. Therefore, without any further ado, here are my Top 5 in no particular order -

5. The Line - RAYE

RAYE seems to be going from strength to strength. As ever, she is also credited as a songwriter on this one. There is no doubt that the song resonates with many young people who end up spending the majority of a night out waiting in a queue line. My favourite thing about this artist is that not only is she releasing fantastic music, but that she is just as enthusiastic about it as her fans.

4. Malibu - MILEY CYRUS

I'm extremely excited for new Miley Cyrus music, and Malibu did not disappoint. Cyrus is rebranding herself as she goes back to her country roots with her upcoming record. This is her first single in 2 years and it is certainly the perfect choice for a returning single.

3. Beautifull Mess - KRISTIAN KOSTOV

For those who do not know, May is also home to Eurovision! This year the competition has some brilliant songs. In fact, this playlist features two songs from the show: Sweden's entry, I Can't Go On by Robin Bengtsson and this song which is Bulgaria's entry. The song is not the standard 'Eurovision style', but a contemporary pop song perfect for radio play. It is good to mention that Kostov only turned 17 two months ago! I've decided to share the live performance as I believe it was absolutely brilliant and also finished in 2nd place!

2. Can't Get Enough - HUNTAR

Up-and-coming RnB star Huntar is back with another catchy single. Huntar has been on touring on-and-off for the past few months and releasing music in anticipation of his mixtape in the summer. This song has short verses, taking you into the chorus quickly. It's certainly a song you will be finding yourself singing during the day.

1. Bedroom - MABEL

The young singer has been turning heads with her recent releases. This song not only features a catchy hook in the chorus but also a harmony-induced pre-chorus. Needless to say, Mabel is one to watch this year!

So that's it for this month. Some songs that did not make the cut are James Cherry's Hold On, The Wandering Heart's Wish I Could and Femme Fatale by The Velvet Underground. See you next month for some more tunes!
